Cancellation & Refund Policy
Individual Therapy Services
Cancellation policies for psychotherapy services may vary depending on the setting in which services are provided.
Clients receiving therapy services through another practice, agency, facility, or organization are subject to the cancellation and attendance policies of that organization.
For services provided directly through Vortex Movement Therapy LLC, clients will receive information regarding scheduling, cancellations, fees, and attendance expectations as part of the informed consent process.
Reiki Sessions
Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled without penalty.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may be charged the full session fee.
Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Dance/Movement Therapy Groups
Group registrations may be canceled for a full refund up to 7 days before the start of the group unless otherwise stated during registration.
Refunds are generally not available for missed group sessions.
If a group is canceled by Vortex Movement Therapy LLC, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future offering.
Workshops, Classes, and Community Events
Workshop and event registrations may be canceled for a full refund up to 7 days before the event unless otherwise stated during registration.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before an event may not be eligible for a refund.
If Vortex Movement Therapy LLC cancels an event, participants will receive a full refund.
Older Adult & Dementia Programming
Contracts and agreements for facilities, organizations, and community partners may include specific cancellation and refund terms. Such agreements will govern the services provided.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow a reasonable processing period for refunds to appear on your account.
